Mission

THE UNIVERSITY ACCOMPLISHED THEIR MISSION TROUGH A DYNAMIC EDUCATIONAL EXPERIENCE, CRITICAL AND CREATIVE, SORRROUNDED BY CHRISTIAN FRIENDSHIP AND COMITTED TO FIND HE ANSWERS AND SOLUTIONS TO THE CHALLENGE OF THE CULTURE, THE CARIBBEAN, GLOBAL AND PUERTO RICAN REALITY.

Activities or mission (Part I)

THE PONTIFICAL CATHOLIC UNIVERSITY OF PUERTO RICO AS AN UNIVERSITY AND CATHOLIC INSTITUTE, HAS THE MISSION TO CELBRATE AND PROMOTE THE LIFE AND OF THE HUMAN PERSON AND EDUCATE, ACCORDING TO GOSPEL VALUES IN THE DISCIPLINES OF THE CURRENT SCIENTIFIC KNOWLEDGE, TO BUILD A BETTER LOCAL AND GLOBAL WORLD.

POSTSECONDARY EDUCATION - THE PONTIFICAL CATHOLIC UNIVERISTY OF PUERTO RICO IS AN INSTITUTION OF HIGHER EDUCATION. ITS MAIN PURPOSE IS TO SERVE PUERTO RICO AS A UNIVERSITY AND CATHOLIC INSTITUTION. THE UNIVERSITY AIMS AMONG OTHER THINGS: PROVIDE STUDENTS WITH THE OPPORTUNITY TO ACQUIRE HUMANISTIC-CHRISTIAN FORMATION THAT WILL GURANTEE THEIR PRESENCE IN SOCIETY AS CONSCIOUS MEMBERS OF HUMAN VALUES IN THE LIGHT OF THE MYSTERY OF CHRIST. CONTRIBUTE TO THE CHRISTIAN EDUCATION OF LEADERS IN DIFFERENT PROFESSIONS IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE BELIEF OF THE ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH. SERVE ALL BELIEVERS IN PUERTO RICO BY BEIGN AND EFFECTIVE HELP IN SCHOOLS, COLLEGES, SEMINARIES AND CULTURAL CENTERS. TO SERVE AS GUIDE OF CATHOLIC CULTURE IN THIS COUNTRY.
