Get transportation for a family with 5 children between the ages of 6yrs and 6th grade. The live in boyfriend received a van through PLUS Charities (Angel Donor), but would not share the vehicle with the mother of his children. PLUS Charities stepped in again, for the benefit of the children, and obtained a salvagable 2001 Volvo V70. The auto cost $1000, but needed the functional engine (included) installed. This mechanical cost was $2000. There were other expenses with the car that could not be anticipated while the car was not operational. PLUS Chairites got it all running properly. With a lot of sweat equity, a very good car was had for a lower price.

Made FCC application for a new radio station (Mary's Holy Voice) through an Engineering Study. The new radio station will transmit at Kalona, Iowa, which is South of Iowa City. The station will cover the South Side of Iowa City. Made FCC application for improving the signal coverage of the current KMMK 88.7 FM signal by moving the antenna to a higher position on the UScellular tower, from which KMMK broadcasts. KMMK broadcasts from the UScellular tower in Coggin, Iowa, which is North of Cedar Rapids (on HWY-30). In order to avoid an upcharge, PLUS Charities is creating a paper which shows that UScellular made upgrades which adversely effect the KMMK broadcast signal via calculations and tests.

Compensation is as filed in Part VII: reportable pay from this organization and from related organizations, other compensation, and hours per week. The total, marked calculated, is our sum of the three dollar columns, with a blank column counted as $0; the form itself has no total. On a Form 990-EZ the columns are Part IV's instead, and on a Form 990-PF Part VIII's — compensation, contributions to benefit plans, and expense account — and the total sums those.
