The Kilauea School PTSA is dedicated to supporting and enriching student experiences at Kilauea School through the generosity of our community.
-
The PTSA funded and organized After School Clubs, with 15 different clubs and over 180 students participating. The PTSA also provided $200 for each teacher to assist with classroom supplies and other needs. The organization funded bus fees for any class wanting to do a field trip, to encourage out of classroom experiences for the kids and opportunities for them to serve in our community. Classes visited beaches in the area and learned about erosion, rising sea levels, and helped to plant and maintain native plants in the area. Classes also visited reservoirs and learned about water systems and how they affect the community. The PTSA funded the school's PE teacher and music teacher for the school year.
