Mission and programs · 2025

Mission

Summit Equestrian Center works with veterans to foster a safe and supportive environment to heal from the visible and invisible wounds of service through the trust built in equine partnership.

  • Summit Equestrian Center provides horsemanship skills to our veteran population. Five days a week, veterans choose to walk into our barn, spend time with our horses, and be part of our program. They are building a relationship based on trust and mutual understanding that often extends far beyond the arena. Through each grooming session, ride, and quiet moment spent together, veterans gain confidence, connection, and a renewed sense of purpose.

Compensation is as filed in Part VII: reportable pay from this organization and from related organizations, other compensation, and hours per week. The total, marked calculated, is our sum of the three dollar columns, with a blank column counted as $0; the form itself has no total. On a Form 990-EZ the columns are Part IV's instead, and on a Form 990-PF Part VIII's — compensation, contributions to benefit plans, and expense account — and the total sums those.
