Mission
WE EMPOWER COMMUNITY PROJECTS THAT CONSERVE THE ENVIRONMENT, ENCOURAGE CREATIVITY, AND STRENGTHEN COMMUNITIES. WE DO THIS THROUGH OUR NONPROFIT STATUS AND BY PROVIDING EXCEPTIONAL ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT
Activities or mission (Part I)
TO EMPOWER COMMUNITY PROJECTS THAT ENCOURAGE CREATIVITY AND PROMOTE CONSERVATION.
-
THE FISCAL SPONSORSHIP PROGRAM ENABLES COMMUNITY PROJECTS TO RAISE FUNDS FOR THEIR RESPECTIVE MISSIONS WITHOUT THE COMPLEXITIES AND OVERHEAD OF INCORPORATING AS A SEPARATE NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION. THESE PROJECTS MAY BE ELIGIBLE TO APPLY FOR GOVERNMENT, FOUNDATION, AND CORPORATE GRANTS THAT REQUIRE 501(C)(3) STATUS. THESE FISCAL SPONSORSHIPS CAN COVER ONE-TIME PROJECTS OR RANGE FOR A LONGER PERIOD, AND THE SPONSORED PROJECTS MUST HAVE MISSIONS THAT ARE ALIGNED WITH THE ORGANIZATION; TO ENCOURAGE CREATIVITY, CONSERVE THE ENVIRONMENT, AND STRENGTHEN COMMUNITIES. DURING 2024, THE ORGANIZATION FISCALLY SPONSORED 29 PROJECTS AND EACH PROJECT HAS ITS OWN AGREEMENT WHEREBY THE ORGANIZATION RECEIVES A SPONSORSHIP FEE WHICH RANGES BETWEEN 7%-10%.

Compensation is as filed in Part VII: reportable pay from this organization and from related organizations, other compensation, and hours per week. The total, marked calculated, is our sum of the three dollar columns, with a blank column counted as $0; the form itself has no total. On a Form 990-EZ the columns are Part IV's instead, and on a Form 990-PF Part VIII's — compensation, contributions to benefit plans, and expense account — and the total sums those.
