Mission
Guiding schools and communities in building a prosperous local food culture that places healthy food on the plates and in the minds of all Park County children and their families.
-
The programs of Farm to School of Park County (F2SPC) are designed to address the interrelated nature of food education, food access, food affordability and the need to construct healthy dietary patterns for children within Park Countys severe economic constraints. Some specific achievements in FY23 include: cooperating with schools to deliver 48,300 Farm Fresh meals; teaching 966 students how to garden and cook from scratch; cultivating seven Community and School Learning Gardens including a new downtown Community Garden; growing over 3,000 lbs of vegetables for local school meals; and partnering with the community to serve 8,600 summer meals to hungry children while school was out for summer.

Compensation is as filed in Part VII: reportable pay from this organization and from related organizations, other compensation, and hours per week. The total, marked calculated, is our sum of the three dollar columns, with a blank column counted as $0; the form itself has no total. On a Form 990-EZ the columns are Part IV's instead, and on a Form 990-PF Part VIII's — compensation, contributions to benefit plans, and expense account — and the total sums those.
