COMMITTED TO DEVELOPING A COMPREHENSIVE STRATEGY TO HELP ASIAN AMERICAN NATIVE HAWAIIAN PACIFIC ISLANDER (AANHPI) WORKERS FORM THEIR UNIONS AND PROMOTING THE PARTICIPATION AND LEADERSHIP OF AANHPI WORKERS WITHIN THE LABOR MOVEMENT AND STRENGTHENING INTERNATIONAL LABOR SOLIDARITY. PURSUING SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC JUSTICE FOR ALL WORKERS.

APALA AND ITS AFFILIATE HOST A BIENNIAL CONVENTION THAT GATHERS APALA'S MEMBERSHIP AND COMMUNITY MEMBERS TOGETHER TO DISCUSS THE SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC JUSTICE ISSUES AFFECTING THE ASIAN AMERICAN NATIVE HAWAIIAN PACIFIC ISLANDER COMMUNITIES. THERE ARE KEYNOTE SPEAKERS, WORKSHOPS, PLENARIES AND ELECTIONS FOR OFFICERS FOR APALA'S NATIONAL EXECUTIVE BOARD.

OUTREACH AND TRAINING - APALA PROVIDES TRAINING TO ITS MEMBERS, CHAPTERS AND NATIONAL EXECUTIVE BOARD, AND FACILITATES TRAININGS ON ORGANIZING AND VOTER EDUCATION PROGRAMS. APALA ALSO STRENGTHENS COMMUNITY, LABOR AND YOUTH PARTNERSHIPS WITH SPEAKING ENGAGEMENTS AND COALITION BUILDING.

APALA'S MEMBERSHIP SUPPORTS THE CHAPTERS, IMMIGRANT AND WORKER'S RIGHTS, POLITICAL PROGRAMS AND THE BULLDING OF LABOR AND COMMUNITY ALLIANCES.
