  • The YMCA Endowment Foundation exists to provide long-term support to the charitable mission of the YMCA of Greater Houston ensuring that the YMCA can meet the ever-changing needs of children, families, and communities throughout the Houston area now and into the future. For 136 years the YMCA of Greater Houston has focused on empowering young people, improving health and well-being, and inspiring action in and across communities. At the Y strengthening community is our cause. Everything we do is in service of making sure people and communities thrive. When you invest in the Y you become part of a community and an organization that is actively and visibly improving outcomes for all. Today, we are transforming to better address issues like food insecurity, health disparities, racial inequities, social isolation, learning gaps, and more. The YMCA of Greater Houston was founded as a place where all people could find hope, fellowship, and healing. Now, we are challenged to find new ways to transform our organization to not only meet the needs of our members but to also address critical community issues and keep our organization thriving for years to come. The YMCA is not just a place, we are a purpose, and being a part of the YMCA is not just about buildings and programs, it is about being a part of something bigger than all of us and being an advocate for the most vulnerable among us.

Compensation is as filed in Part VII: reportable pay from this organization and from related organizations, other compensation, and hours per week. The total, marked calculated, is our sum of the three dollar columns, with a blank column counted as $0; the form itself has no total. On a Form 990-EZ the columns are Part IV's instead, and on a Form 990-PF Part VIII's — compensation, contributions to benefit plans, and expense account — and the total sums those. A Schedule J breakdown is as filed: base pay, bonus, other, deferred compensation and nontaxable benefits from this organization, with any from related organizations beside each, and the filer's own total. It is shown with the Part VII listing of the same name on the same return. The form gives no key between the two, so that pairing is ours, and is marked matched by us.
