Mission and programs · 2022

Mission

We bring together Jewish people in the community to deepen their connection to their traditions and religious practices.

  • We offer experiences and resources to the community as our core programming. Our main offering is that these circles provide unique opportunities for people to share and process their psychedelic experiences in a Jewish setting with pastoral caregivers. These circles are two-hour peer-focused integration process groups facilitated by Shefa rabbinic interns (rabbinic students) hosted online. Integration counseling with Rabbi Zac are 20-60 minute calls with individuals looking for deeper time to process, learn, and integrate their psychedelic experiences with our founder. This activity provides religious counseling with a leader in the emerging field of psychedelic chaplaincy for people who cannot find pastoral care otherwise.Continued on Schedule O

Compensation is as filed in Part VII: reportable pay from this organization and from related organizations, other compensation, and hours per week. The total, marked calculated, is our sum of the three dollar columns, with a blank column counted as $0; the form itself has no total. On a Form 990-EZ the columns are Part IV's instead, and on a Form 990-PF Part VIII's — compensation, contributions to benefit plans, and expense account — and the total sums those.
