THE ASSOCIATION FOR COLLABORATIVE LEADERSHIP (ACL) PROVIDES A FORUM FOR COMMUNICATION AMONG HIGHER EDUCATION PROFESSIONALS INVOLVED IN COOPERATIVE PROGRAMS AND OFFERS GUIDANCE IN CREATING AND STRENGTHENING PARTNERSHIPS AMONG ORGANIZATIONS WHOSE MEMBERS INCLUDE COLLEGES AND UNIVERSITIES. IN ADDITION TO HIGHER EDUCATION INSTITUTIONS, THESE PARTNERSHIPS FREQUENTLY INCORPORATE GOVERNMENT AGENCIES, BUSINESSES, K-12 SCHOOLS, AND OTHER NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATIONS.

  • ACL HOSTS A SUMMER INSTITUTE AND AN ANNUAL CONFERENCE EACH YEAR. THE GOAL OF THESE TWO EVENTS IS TO PROVIDE COMPLEMENTARY LEVELS OF CONTINUING EDUCATION, PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT, NETWORKING AND LEADERSHIP OPPORTUNITIES TO ATTENDEES. APPLICANTS MUST HAVE THE SUPPORT OF THEIR HOME INSTITUTION OR ORGANIZATION TO ATTEND, AND MUST SUBMIT RECOMMENDATIONS. THE INSTITUTE IS AN INTENSE, SMALL GROUP OPPORTUNITY FOR LEADERS TO ENHANCE, EXPAND AND SHARE THEIR KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERTISE REGARDING COLLABORATION AMONG HIGHER EDUCATION INSTITUTIONS. THE ANNUAL CONFERENCE IS OPEN TO ANYONE WITH AN INTEREST IN THE ORGANIZATION'S ACTIVITIES.IN ADDITION, ACL OFFERS TOPICAL WEBINARS THROUGHOUT THE YEAR.
