REENTRY ASSISTANCE FOR FORMER INMATES GEARED TO FACILITATING SUCCESSFUL REENTRY INTO SOCIETY AND LOWER RECIDIVISM.

MAGDALENE HOUSE RESIDENTIAL PROGRAMBridges Reentrys acquired its second residence, Magdalene House-Rio Paseo, this year. Eleven formerly incarcerated women reside in two rent-free homes for up to two years and are provided wrap-around services that contribute to their successful reentry. BEYOND THE GATES MENTOR PROGRAM 23 active mentors are matched with 23 resident and non-resident mentees. Three Mentor Cohort meetings were held with topics on Social Determinants of Health, Transition to Success TS and Addiction Relapsing.TRANSITION TO SUCCESS (TTS)A Community Forum was held introducing TTS to the Valley in April 2024 with 46 attendees from 28 organizations representing city and state governments, justice, faith-based, healthcare, social and human service organizations. 17 cohort members earned their TTS Coach Certification designation in 2024. Representation was from Honor Health Desert Mission Food Bank, Sojourner Center, Family Promise, St. Marys Food Bank, Televerde Foundation, Bridges Reentry and Imagine Therapy. RAISING MY VOICE is a 6-week program that guides women in telling their stories to Valley civic, faith-based and community organizations who advocate on behalf of social justice and the inequities face by formerly incarcerated women. YOUR MONEY YOUR GOALS train resident and non-resident mentees and Second Chance inmates at Perryville in understanding responsible financial management with comprehensive financial topics such as budgeting, borrowing, and credit. RELEASE DAY PICK-UP PROGRAM: Volunteers pick up women being released from Perryville Prison and take them to their safe housing location, provide them with toiletries and a good meal. In 2024,Bridges Reentry, Inc. collaborated with Walden University to help five formerly incarcerated women secure full-time scholarships valued at $450,000. These scholarships were awarded directly by the University to the recipients. The nonprofit played an instrumental role in identifying eligible candidates and supporting their application process.IN-KIND DONATIONSIn addition, The Ipsom Group has provided the in-kind donation of comprehensive marketing, website design and update services; and social media design and distribution of Bridges program services valued annually at $75,000, an expense that Bridges would not be able to purchase otherwise.

Compensation is as filed in Part VII: reportable pay from this organization and from related organizations, other compensation, and hours per week. The total, marked calculated, is our sum of the three dollar columns, with a blank column counted as $0; the form itself has no total. On a Form 990-EZ the columns are Part IV's instead, and on a Form 990-PF Part VIII's — compensation, contributions to benefit plans, and expense account — and the total sums those.
