Mission
Family Promise of Juneau is a community response to family homelessness. We provide shelter and case management to families experiencing a housing crisis
-
Family Promise runs three programs currently. Two of them being under our primary umbrella. When families call seeking services from Family Promise we have a referral program that guides them through the process to access oiur services or other services within the community. Within ou main program families wth a housing crisis are sheltered in rotation of faith communities. This operates 24 hours/day and 365 days per year. Families are provided with three meals a day and intensive case management to find appropriate hoiusing and grow to self-sufficiency. Since opening on April 30, 2017, weve had 9374 bed nights, 28122 meals served, 49 families served, 80 of families graduated in to Housing. 245 children served with 16 active supporting/host organisations.
Expenses $196,917 · Revenue $57,806

Our rapid rehousing program helps households currently homeless or soon to be hoimeless. Households must be sustainable with some sort of income which could be SSI, SSDI, retirement or employment to mane a few. Must be willing to particiate in weekly case-management meetings which will taper off as time progresses and households must be willing to speak about their finances and be willing tio make smart financial decisions moving forward. This program has served 57 households total over the last year. This program has a 100 success rate at this time and has effectively kept these households from being homeless throughout the Covid-19 pandemic.

Compensation is as filed in Part VII: reportable pay from this organization and from related organizations, other compensation, and hours per week. The total, marked calculated, is our sum of the three dollar columns, with a blank column counted as $0; the form itself has no total. On a Form 990-EZ the columns are Part IV's instead, and on a Form 990-PF Part VIII's — compensation, contributions to benefit plans, and expense account — and the total sums those.
