Compensation is as filed in Part VII: reportable pay from this organization and from related organizations, other compensation, and hours per week. The total, marked calculated, is our sum of the three dollar columns, with a blank column counted as $0; the form itself has no total. On a Form 990-EZ the columns are Part IV's instead — compensation, contributions to benefit plans, and expense account — and the total sums those. A Schedule J breakdown is as filed: base pay, bonus, other, deferred compensation and nontaxable benefits from this organization, with any from related organizations beside each, and the filer's own total. It is shown with the Part VII listing of the same name on the same return. The form gives no key between the two, so that pairing is ours, and is marked matched by us.

The filer's explanations (Part III)

PART I, LINE 1A
UNDER CERTAIN CIRCUMSTANCES, FIRST CLASS TRAVEL IS ALLOWABLE WHEN THE TRAVEL QUALIFIES FOR BUSINESS CLASS TRAVEL BUT THE FLIGHT DOES NOT OFFER BUSINESS CLASS. GENERALLY, COACH OR LOWER PROMOTIONAL FARES ARE THE ONLY CLASSES OF TRAVEL AVAILABLE TO TRUST EMPLOYEES. BUSINESS CLASS FARES ARE ALLOWABLE FOR ALL TRUSTEE TRAVEL AND ALLOWABLE FOR TRUST EMPLOYEES WHEN THE ORIGIN AND/OR DESTINATION ARE OUTSIDE THE CONTINENTAL UNITED STATES, WHEN AN OVERNIGHT OR "RED-EYE" FLIGHT EXCEEDS 5 HOURS, WHEN NO SPACE IS AVAILABLE IN COACH CLASS ACCOMMODATIONS IN TIME TO ACCOMPLISH THE BUSINESS TRAVEL WHICH IS URGENT AND CANNOT BE POSTPONED, AND WHEN THE USE OF BUSINESS CLASS ACCOMMODATIONS IS NECESSARY TO MEET THE TRAVELER'S DISABILITY OR OTHER SPECIAL NEEDS AS SUBSTANTIATED IN WRITING BY A COMPETENT MEDICAL AUTHORITY.
PART I, LINE 4A:
THE CHARITABLE TRUST MADE SEVERANCE PAYMENTS IN 2022 IN THE AMOUNT OF $222,950 TO CHARLES S. SHEAIN.
PART I, LINE 4B:
THE CHARITABLE TRUST MAINTAINS A SUPPLEMENTAL EXECUTIVE RETIREMENT PLAN ("SERP") FOR A SELECT GROUP OF MANAGEMENT AND HIGHLY COMPENSATED EMPLOYEES AS DETERMINED BY THE TRUSTEES. THE SERP WAS ADOPTED IN ORDER TO PROVIDE CERTAIN EMPLOYEES WITH NONQUALIFIED DEFERRED COMPENSATION BENEFITS SUBJECT TO IRC SECTION 457(F) IN RECOGNITION OF THE SERVICES THEY PROVIDE. THE CHARITABLE TRUST MAKES DISCRETIONARY CONTRIBUTIONS TO THE PLAN AND MAY AMEND OR TERMINATE THE PLAN AT ANY TIME. $421,652 OF VESTED SERP WAS DISTRIBUTED TO DAVID D. GONINO, $11,525 TO KARA P. RILEY, $13,413 TO TRAVIS K. ANGEVINE, AND $58,371 TO CHARLES D. HENDRIX DURING 2022.
PART I, LINE 7:
CERTAIN EMPLOYEES OF THE CHARITABLE TRUST ARE ELIGIBLE FOR INCENTIVE COMPENSATION. THIS COMPENSATION IS BASED ON QUALITATIVE AND QUANTITATIVE ORGANIZATIONAL GOALS AND THE ACHIEVEMENT OF SUCH GOALS BY THE ORGANIZATION. OVERALL COMPENSATION IS WITHIN PARAMETERS DETERMINED BY THE CHARITABLE TRUST'S INDEPENDENT COMPENSATION CONSULTANT AND REFLECTS COMPENSATION LEVELS AMONG FOUNDATIONS AND ENDOWMENTS OF ORGANIZATIONS THAT ARE COMPARABLE TO THE CHARITABLE TRUST IN ASSET VALUE.

Part I's answers as filed. A line not listed was left unanswered; on lines 1a and 3 that means the box was not checked.
