TO PROMOTE AND SUPPORT THE COMMON BUSINESS INTERESTS OF THE UNITED STATES AND PANAMA POULTRY INDUSTRIES AND CERTAIN POULTRY INDUSTRY TRADE ASSOCIATIONS SERVING THE NEEDS OF THOSE INDUSTRIES.

  • ADMINISTRATION OF AN INDUSTRY-WIDE AUCTION FOR EXPORTERS OF CHICKEN LEG QUARTERS, WHO ARE INCORPORATED OR WITH A LEGAL ADDRESS IN THE UNITED STATES. THE AUCTION ENSURES THAT TARIFF-RATE QUOTA CERTIFICATES ARE DISTRIBUTED IN A FAIR AND EQUITABLE MANNER.

  • EDUCATIONAL, SCIENTIFIC, AND TECHNICAL PROJECTS THAT ARE DESIGNED TO PROMOTE MARKET DEVELOPMENT; IMPROVE POULTRY PRODUCTION AND SANITARY STANDARDS IN THE COUNTRIES OF THE MEMBER ASSOCIATIONS; AND EDUCATE THE MEMBERSHIP ABOUT ISSUES AFFECTING THE POULTRY INDUSTRY.
