Program accomplishments 2023:Developed an accessibility plaza, a paved and fully accessible portion of the Garden that allows for anyone with a wheelchair to enjoy garden programming. Built an outdoor kitchen, called Cocina sin Fronteras, (Kitchen without Borders) to recognize that food brings us together regardless of where we come from. The kitchen includes a fogon, a traditional meso-american grill, a stove, sink, and kitchen prep area. Hosted several celebrations and community gatherings including a summer solstice event. Held a school supply giveaway and a winter coat giveaway for neighborhood youth. Participated in a campaign that led the City of Philadelphia to buy back 91 liens on lots so the stewards of community gardens and greenspaces on those lots could gain ownership of the land. Iglesias Gardens counsel worked with a large group of stakeholders to negotiate revisions to new onerous requirements for Philadelphia Land Bank mortgages that would enable community land trusts and other community groups to continue to secure community land.

Compensation is as filed in Part VII: reportable pay from this organization and from related organizations, other compensation, and hours per week. The total, marked calculated, is our sum of the three dollar columns, with a blank column counted as $0; the form itself has no total. On a Form 990-EZ the columns are Part IV's instead, and on a Form 990-PF Part VIII's — compensation, contributions to benefit plans, and expense account — and the total sums those.
