Mission

The purpose of Discover the Book Ministries is evangelization and discipleship through various means consistent with the Holy Scriptures to help build and strengthen the Church of Jesus Christ. Our ministries include online resources, classes, and conferences to cultivate disciple-making by providing curriculum, devotional challenges, and Bible training resources.

  • In 2024, Discover the Book Ministries (DTBM) prepared evangelism & discipleship courses and filmed lessons that were edited and uploaded to our online classroom websites. These courses are designed to biblically train both NextGeneration students (youth) and Frontline students (adults). Our top three investments in fulfilling our program services in 2024 were: 1. VIRTUAL CLASSROOMS: We continued to enhance our main virtual classroom/studio cameras, audio equipment, and video processing services. A mobile studio was updated as well for use in remote classrooms in Europe, Asia, Canada, and Central America. We served classes with 1,000 registered Bible education students during 2024. 2. TRAINING CONFERENCES: We traveled for youth training conferences with students in New York (April , August), taught students in Florida (March), and students in the UK, Italy, Greece, and Japan (September-November). 3. ONLINE EDUCATION: The DTBM Academy has 10 courses online serving hundreds of registered online students from 25 countries, plus all 50 states.

Compensation is as filed in Part VII: reportable pay from this organization and from related organizations, other compensation, and hours per week. The total, marked calculated, is our sum of the three dollar columns, with a blank column counted as $0; the form itself has no total. On a Form 990-EZ the columns are Part IV's instead, and on a Form 990-PF Part VIII's — compensation, contributions to benefit plans, and expense account — and the total sums those. A Schedule J breakdown is as filed: base pay, bonus, other, deferred compensation and nontaxable benefits from this organization, with any from related organizations beside each, and the filer's own total. It is shown with the Part VII listing of the same name on the same return. The form gives no key between the two, so that pairing is ours, and is marked matched by us.
