Primary exempt purpose

TO IMPROVE THE HEALTH AND EDUCATIONAL OUTCOMES FOR STUDENTS AND SUPPORT THEIR FAMILIES, BY INCREASING EQUITABLE ACCESS TO SERVICES.

  • WE LAUNCHED THE FIRST PREVENTATIVE HEART SCREENING PROGRAM IN THE STATE. FROM 2021-23, WE SCREENED AROUND 800 STUDENTS AND IN 2024, WE SCREENED 1500 STUDENTS. APPROXIMATELY 3% OF STUDENTS SCREENED WERE IDENTIFIED WITH PREVIOUSLY UNDIAGNOSED HEART CONDITIONS. FROM 2020-23, WE INTRODUCED CPR & AED TRAINING TO ABOUT 80 STUDENTS, CERTIFIED 40 ADULTS AND PROVIDED TRAINING FREE OF CHARGE TO 300 STUDENTS. WE HAVE PARTNERED WITH TWO HOSPITAL SYSTEMS, MEDICAL PROFESSIONALS AND OTHER NONPROFITS.
