Mission
THE LIBRARY OF AMERICAN BROADCASTING FOUNDATION WORKS TO RAISE MONEY TO PRIMARILY SUPPORT THE WORK OF THE LIBRARY OF AMERICAN BROADCASTING COLLECTION AT THE UNIVERSITY OF MARYLAND. THESE EFFORTS INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO HOSTING A GIANTS OF AMERICAN BROADCASTING AND ELECTRONIC ARTS PROGRAM EACH YEAR.

EFFECTIVE 1/14/2015, LABF NEGOTIATED A NEW AGREEMENT WITH THE UNIVERSITY OF MARYLAND, WHICH HOUSES THE LIBRARY OF AMERICAN BROADCASTING. DURING 2025, LABF PAID $35,000 TO UNIVERSITY OF MARYLAND TO SUPPORT THE COST OF HOUSING THE LIBRARY OF AMERICAN BROADCASTING. LABF ALSO CONTRIBUTED $2,500 FOR THE BROADCAST HISTORIAN AWARD.
