AS A RESULT OF A PRIOR FOCUS AREA TO IMPOVE THE LIVES OF CHILDREN IN LUBBOCK AND THE SURROUNDING COMMUNITIES, THE JUNIOR LEAGUE HAS CREATED AND IMPLEMENTED SEVERAL PROGRAMS. THE JUNIOR LEAGUE OF LUBBOCK DEVELOPED THE SOUTH PLAINS FOOD2KIDS PROGRAM, A PROJECT IN ASSOCIATION WITH THE LUBBOCK INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT TO PROVIDE FOOD ON FRIDAYS TO CHILDREN WHO HAVE BEEN IDENTIFIED AS BEING AT RISK FOR SUFFERING FROM HUNGER DURING THE WEEKEND. THE JUNIOR LEAGUE OF LUBBOCK ALSO ADOPTED KIDS IN THE KITCHEN, A PROGRAM INITIATED BY JUNIOR LEAGUE ASSOCIATIONS FROM ACROSS THE COUNTRY TO ENCOURAGE CHILDREN AND FAMILIES TO GET IN THE KITCHEN, PROMOTE HEALTHIER LIFESTYLES AND PROVIDE RESOURCES AND HAND ON INSTRUCTION TO FACILITATE THESE GOALS. ADDITIONALLY, THE JUNIOR LEAGUE OF LUBBOCK CREATED A PROGRAM TITLED SPARK TO EDUCATE UNDER-PRIVILEGED AND UNDERSERVED TEENAGE GIRLS IN LUBBOCK. THE SPARK PROGRAM IGNITES THE POTENTIAL IN MIDDLE SCHOOL GIRLS TO DEVELOP INTO SELF-CONFIDENT STUDENTS AND LEADERS MAKING A POSITIVE IMPACT IN THEIR COMMUNITY. THIS EIGHT MONTH PROGRAM TEACHES TEAMWORK, SELF-CONFIDENCE, THE VALUE OF EDUCATION AND IMPACT OF COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT THROUGH VOLUNTEERISM. DURING THE 2022-2023 JUNIOR LEAGUE OF LUBBOCK FISCAL YEAR, THE JUNIOR LEAGUE OF LUBBOCK WILL BUILD RELATIONSHIPS WITH TEN TO FIFTEEN YOUNG WOMEN FROM DUNBAR, OL SLATON, AND CAVAZOS MIDDLE SCHOOLS IN THE LUBBOCK INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT.

Compensation is as filed in Part VII: reportable pay from this organization and from related organizations, other compensation, and hours per week. The total, marked calculated, is our sum of the three dollar columns, with a blank column counted as $0; the form itself has no total. On a Form 990-EZ the columns are Part IV's instead, and on a Form 990-PF Part VIII's — compensation, contributions to benefit plans, and expense account — and the total sums those.
