Mission and programs · 2022

Mission

Provide professional development and networking opportunities to senior financial executives in the Las Vegas area, acknowledge outstanding financial executives, and provide scholarships for students in finance and accounting as future financial executives.

Activities or mission (Part I)

Professional development and networking for senior financial executives, recognition for outstanding financial executives, and scholarships for students in finance and accounting.

  • During most of the year, the CoViD-19 pandemic caused us to cease in-person meetings. We were able to hold a few virtual meetings, but we were not well equipped to do that. With the gradual emergence of in-person meetings late in the year, we managed to hold some membership meetings in person. Thus, we did continue to provide networking for senior financial executives with each other and with our sponsoring organizations, and at some of our meetings we were able to hear speakers of professional interest.

    Expenses $50,299 · Revenue $7,125

  • While our revenue was reduced (members and sponsors were given a hiatus for their contributions until late in the year), we did provide $10,000 in scholarship funds this year to the University of Nevada.

    Expenses $10,000

As filed on the 2022 return. The filer continues this part on Schedule O, which is not shown here.

Compensation is as filed in Part VII: reportable pay from this organization and from related organizations, other compensation, and hours per week. The total, marked calculated, is our sum of the three dollar columns, with a blank column counted as $0; the form itself has no total. On a Form 990-EZ the columns are Part IV's instead, and on a Form 990-PF Part VIII's — compensation, contributions to benefit plans, and expense account — and the total sums those.
