TO PROVIDE THE CAPITAL, TRAINING, AND ONGOING SUPPORT TO GHANAIAN WOMEN IN IMPOVERISHED RURAL COMMUNITIES SO THEY CAN START AND SUSTAIN SMALL WATER TREATMENT CENTERS SO THAT THE COMMUNITIES CAN HAVE SAFE AND AFFORDABLE DRINKING WATER WHILE THE WOMEN CAN EARN SUPPLEMENTAL INCOME

  • UTILITY TRANSITION - THE MAIN FOCUS OF 2025 WAS UPGRADING ALL REMAINING LEGACY SURFACE WATER TREATMENT SYSTEMS (SSWTS) TO SAHA'S UTILITY MODEL. THOSE EXPENSES ARE CLASSIFIED UNDER "UTILITY TRANSITION." OVER 2025, SAHA UPGRADED 459 SSWTS IN 459 COMMUNITIES TO THE UTILITY MODEL.

  • SERVICE DELIVERY - BY THE END OF THE YEAR, SAHA'S FULL UTILITY PORTFOLIO NOW INCLUDED 470 WATER POINTS, ENCOMPASSING BOTH SURFACE AND GROUNDWATER SYSTEMS. THESE CENTERS NOW PROVIDE SAFE, PROFESSIONALLY MANAGED WATER SERVICE TO OVER 135,000 PEOPLE ACROSS FIVE REGIONS. THE IMPACT OF SAHA'S UTILITY-STYLE SERVICE MODEL BECAME FULLY VISIBLE IN 2025. ACROSS ALL SAHA COMMUNITIES, CLEAN WATER PRODUCTION SURPASSED 20 MILLION LITERS BY THE END OF THE YEAR, MORE THAN TRIPLE THE VOLUME PRODUCED IN 2024 (WHILE SERVING ROUGHLY THE SAME POPULATION). Compensation is as filed in Part VII: reportable pay from this organization and from related organizations, other compensation, and hours per week. The total, marked calculated, is our sum of the three dollar columns, with a blank column counted as $0; the form itself has no total. On a Form 990-EZ the columns are Part IV's instead, and on a Form 990-PF Part VIII's — compensation, contributions to benefit plans, and expense account — and the total sums those.
