NORTHWEST FEDERATED WOMENS CLUB OF BROWARD COUNTY PROVIDES RESPITE AND DAY CARE FOR THE ELDERLY OF BROWARD COUNTY. AS A COMMUNITY BASED MEMBERSHIP ORGANIZATION, THE WOMENS CLUB SERVES THE SENIOR CITIZENS OF OUR COMMUNITY AT THE NORTHWEST FEDERATED WOMENS CLUB OF BROWARD COUNTY

  • THE NORTHWEST FEDERATED WOMANS CLUB OF BROWARD COUNTY INC IS AN ORGANIZATION OF COMMUNITY THROUGHOUT BROWARD COUNTY. PROGRAMS ARE OFFEREDTO INDIVIDUALS WHO ARE AGE 60 AND OLDER. PROGRAMS INCLUDE: RECREATION AND SOCIAL SERVICES - THESE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED FOR THE ECONOMICALLY DEPRESSED ELDERLY IN BROWARD COUNTY, FLORIDA. HEALTH AND WELLNESS SERVICES- THESE SERVICES INCLUDE MONTHLY SCREENING AND MEDICATION MANAGEMENT. TRANSPORTATION - THE SENIOR CENTER HAS A VAN THAT PROVIDES PICK-UP AND DROPP-OFF SERVICE FOR CLIENTS THAT ATTEND THE CENTERS PROGRAM. ADULT DAYCARE- THESE SERVICES INCLUDE A COMPLETE LINE OF RECREATIONALA ACTIVITIES AND THERAPEUTIC PROGRAMS THAT ARE UTILIZED TO ENHANCE AWARENESS, SELF-MOTIVATION, FLEXIBILITY, AND PHYSICAL AND SOCIAL INVOLVEMENT. ALZHEIMER DISEASE INITIATIVE- THIS PROGRAM PROVIDES SERVICES TO INDIVIDUALS WHO ARE AGE 60 ABD OLDER, WHO HAVE BEEN DIAGNOSED WITH ALZHEIMER OR SOME OTHER FORM OD DEMENTIA. RESPITE AND CASE MANAGEMENT SERVICE
