Mission

Magis Center exists to turn the rising tide of unbelief in our culture through contemporary, rational, and science based evidence. We seek to answer the conflict of science and faith with scientific research and communicate the reasonability and truthfulness of the Catholic faith.

  • Magis Center produced and released a faith and science video series to the public, amassing more than 800 adoptions by schools and parishes in dioceses throughout the United States and internationally. The video series was created for middle and high school students, young adults, and adult parish groups. The video series covers many important topics on faith and science, incorporating in-depth scientific research on various topics, challenging the participants to use reasoning and objective, rational evaluation of the research to inform their faith. The Magis Center team works to spread faith and science content and curriculum to schools and parishes across the United States and internationally through direct outreach to schools and parishes. This requires creation and content, production, team and department coordination, marketing, and follow-up to further the Magis Center mission.

Compensation is as filed in Part VII: reportable pay from this organization and from related organizations, other compensation, and hours per week. The total, marked calculated, is our sum of the three dollar columns, with a blank column counted as $0; the form itself has no total. On a Form 990-EZ the columns are Part IV's instead, and on a Form 990-PF Part VIII's — compensation, contributions to benefit plans, and expense account — and the total sums those.
