Mission
CBV heals the trauma of sexual assault and domestic violence by providing crisis intervention, safety, advocacy, and education to survivors and our community.
-
Services for victims of domestic violence include individual counseling, support groups, safety planning, legal advocacy and accompaniment, emergency support and a 24/7 crisis line. All advocates are state certified peer counselors who can offer counseling 1 on 1 or in group settings. Advocates assist in the legal process of applying for domestic violence restraining orders and child custody. Emergency support includes 24/7 response to law enforcement or medical facilities, and emergency food, clothing and transportation. CBV offers a 90 day confidential shelter safehouse for victims of violence escaping imminent danger. Advocates assist with offering information and referrals to other community resources as well as therapy.

Compensation is as filed in Part VII: reportable pay from this organization and from related organizations, other compensation, and hours per week. The total, marked calculated, is our sum of the three dollar columns, with a blank column counted as $0; the form itself has no total. On a Form 990-EZ the columns are Part IV's instead, and on a Form 990-PF Part VIII's — compensation, contributions to benefit plans, and expense account — and the total sums those.
