Mission and programs · 2024
Mission
PRIME PRODUCE LIMITED (PPL) IS ORGANIZED TO ENCOURAGE AND SUPPORT OTHER PERSONS AND EXEMPT ORGANIZATIONS, EMPOWERING FUTURE PHILANTHROPISTS THROUGH PROGRAMS AND PROJECTS.
-
Emergent Works: PPLs partnership with Emergent Works, Serving Justice-Impacted Communities strengthened its foundation through intentional growth and capacity-building initiatives that aligned with our mission to close digital literacy and racial wealth gaps. In 2024, the initiative maintained its flagship programs supporting just-impacted communities with an internal focus on staff/leadership Development and operational efficiency. 70% of T.RAP participants complete the program, achieving key milestones such as conducting research, creating original music, developing a website, building a resume, setting up an Upwork profile, and participating in a public performance.
Expenses $269,832 · Revenue $5,312
-
Other programs:PPL continues to maintain a small portfolio of programs led by grassroots nonprofit leaders. Longstanding programs like GROW Externships, Seeds to Soil, and Design Dream Lab continued their programming throughout 2024. Newer initiatives continued to develop their programming like Earthlings.NYC (organizing their 2nd annual NYC Charity Turtle Race and new invertebrate zoology education programs) and Our Secret Ingredient is Love (organizing educational, participatory, plant-based food events through the lens of important cultural holidays such as Lunar New Year, Tombsweeping Day, and Diwali).
Expenses $82,419 · Revenue $2,424
-
Our Collective Becoming:OCB continues its programming focused around social repair: co-creating a web of belonging in a time of intensified grief and accelerating forms of collapse and devastation: climate grief, interpersonal grief, accelerating global violence, moral devastation, symbolic devastation, the collapse of our political order, and the violence of our reigning economic order. Through community dinners, speaking engagements, and facilitated mutual aid networks, OCB continued to build on its mission of imagining and bring to life another world through a politics of en conjunto, or togetherness.

Compensation is as filed in Part VII: reportable pay from this organization and from related organizations, other compensation, and hours per week. The total, marked calculated, is our sum of the three dollar columns, with a blank column counted as $0; the form itself has no total. On a Form 990-EZ the columns are Part IV's instead, and on a Form 990-PF Part VIII's — compensation, contributions to benefit plans, and expense account — and the total sums those.
