Mission
To train and support local farmers, connect communities with local agriculture, and increase equitable access to nutrient-rich food grown in Colorado.
-
Local Food Share: GoFarm connects the community to local agriculture through a multi-farm Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program. Participants sign up for a full season of fresh, local, sustainably-grown food. Each week during the season participants take home fresh, local, seasonal produce AND receive recipe inspiration, cooking tips, and more; get to know their local farmers and learn about how and where their food is grown; and make an incredible impact the local food system and contribute to a web of positive change in the community.
Expenses $213,997 · Revenue $318,163
-
Farmer Development and Support: The GoFarm Incubator trains and mentors beginning farmers, helping them start their own farm and reducing the barriers of entry into a career in agriculture, especially for BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, women, and veteran farmers. We provide access to land, infrastructure, technical assistance, classroom curriculum, and mentorship. We also support local farmers with rental equipment and sales opportunities.
Expenses $352,003 · Grants $99,032 · Revenue $316,627
-
Community Food Access: GoFarm reduces barriers around accessing and affording local food, inviting everyone to be part of their local food system. We collaborate with community organizations to host local food markets at convenient times and locations, offer financial incentives on local food purchases, and advocate for systemic change toward food equity. In addition, we provide local farmers with an additional sales outlet where they can reach new audiences and take part in an inclusive and transparent local food system.
Expenses $255,049 · Grants $2,500 · Revenue $259,694

Compensation is as filed in Part VII: reportable pay from this organization and from related organizations, other compensation, and hours per week. The total, marked calculated, is our sum of the three dollar columns, with a blank column counted as $0; the form itself has no total. On a Form 990-EZ the columns are Part IV's instead, and on a Form 990-PF Part VIII's — compensation, contributions to benefit plans, and expense account — and the total sums those.
