Mission
THE MISSION OF THE GREENSBORO SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA, INC. IS TO ENRICH THE CULTURAL LIFE OF GREENSBORO, NC AND SURROUNDING AREAS THROUGH THE DEVELOPMENT, PRODUCTION, AND PROMOTION OF THE HIGHEST QUALITY MUSIC AND MUSIC EDUCATION PROGRAMS.

THE GREENSBORO SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA TYPICALLY PRESENTS A FULL CONCERT SEASON OF CLASSICAL AND "POPS" MUSIC AS WELL AS CHAMBER PERFORMANCES AND ANNUAL HOLIDAY CONCERTS, ALL OF WHICH ARE TYPICALLY OPEN TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC. THE MUSIC AT MIDDAY SERIES IS DESIGNED FOR PERSONS LIVING IN RETIREMENT HOMES AND REACHES MORE THAN 1,000 SENIOR CITIZENS. THE GSO HAVE OVER 50 CONCERTS AND EVENTS PER YEAR.
