Mission and programs · 2022

Mission

American Principles Project was created to defend the family as society's most important institution and its greatest safeguard of human dignity. We advocate for policy solutions that protect the rights of families from those who seek to undermine them.

Activities or mission (Part I)

Our mission is to advocate for policy solutions that uphold America's founding principles.

  • American Principles Project, through its pro-family program, advocated on behalf of the American family and engaged on issues of chief importance to families, by: pressing for and supporting laws that defend women's sports and protect children from harmful sex-change procedures, pushing for legislation to rein in Big Tech censorship, opposing the imposition of critical race theory and gender ideology in schools, and publishing a report making the case for Republicans to embrace pro-family issues.

    Expenses $3,413,530 · Grants $519,007 · Revenue $47,634

  • American Principles Project advocated for greater integrity in US elections through its support of the Election Transparency Initiative and Voter Reference Foundation.

    Expenses $350,000 · Grants $350,000

  • American Principles Project promoted pro-family issues through its support of the news site TheNationalPulse.com.

    Expenses $18,000

Compensation is as filed in Part VII: reportable pay from this organization and from related organizations, other compensation, and hours per week. The total, marked calculated, is our sum of the three dollar columns, with a blank column counted as $0; the form itself has no total. On a Form 990-EZ the columns are Part IV's instead, and on a Form 990-PF Part VIII's — compensation, contributions to benefit plans, and expense account — and the total sums those. A Schedule J breakdown is as filed: base pay, bonus, other, deferred compensation and nontaxable benefits from this organization, with any from related organizations beside each, and the filer's own total. It is shown with the Part VII listing of the same name on the same return. The form gives no key between the two, so that pairing is ours, and is marked matched by us.
