Echo System operates a community innovation hub in Durham, North Carolina that serves as a shared coworking and event space for entrepreneurs, nonprofits, creatives, and civic organizations. The hub provides affordable, flexible workspace with infrastructure (including technology, printing, and meeting room access) that supports small organizations and individuals who cannot access traditional commercial real estate. In addition to space rental, the hub hosts community events, workshops, and convenings that build social capital and cross-sector connections across the entrepreneurial ecosystem.

Echo Systems For Youth, By Youth (FYBY) Teen Program anchored by the Teens Tackle social innovation internship model is the organization signature youth-facing initiative. High school students engage in a based internship where they apply human-centered design methodology to solve real community challenges. Each cohort is co-facilitated by near-peer mentors who serve as paid Echo interns, creating a dual-path model that develops both the high school participants and the college- facilitators simultaneously.

Compensation is as filed in Part VII: reportable pay from this organization and from related organizations, other compensation, and hours per week. The total, marked calculated, is our sum of the three dollar columns, with a blank column counted as $0; the form itself has no total. On a Form 990-EZ the columns are Part IV's instead, and on a Form 990-PF Part VIII's — compensation, contributions to benefit plans, and expense account — and the total sums those.
