PRODUCING TOWARDS EQUITY CURRICULM: OUR CONSULTANTS AND DPA MEMBERS PRESENTED THIS ORIGINAL WORKSHOP SERIES AT HAYTI FILM FESTIVAL, PHILLY LATINO FILM FESTIVAL,AND AUSTIN FILM SOCIETY. THIS WORKSHOP SERIES WILL EXPAND IN SCOPE AND BECOME A DPA SIGNATURE OFFERING.MEMBER ENGAGEMENT: INTRODUCED MEMBERSHIP OPT-IN LANGUAGE WITH A CODE OF CONDUCT; CO-HOSTED EVENTS AT SUNDANCE, HOT DOCS, SXSW, AND TRIBECA; SUPPORTED THE CREATION OF THE TRANS AFFINITY GROUP; ORGANIZED TOWN HALLS FOR STRIKE SOLIDARITY, EDUCATING MEMBERS ABOUT UNIONS. ALONG WITH CONDUCTING A BRAND AND WEBSITE RELAUNCH, WE CONTRACTED A SPECIALIST TO IMPLEMENT THE STRATEGIC COMMUNICATIONS PLAN DELIVERED BY OUR CONSULTANT AFTER A THOROUGH AUDIT OF OUR ORGANIZATION.INITIATIVES: OUR NEGOTIATING NEW PROJECTS GUIDELINES WERE IN A COPY-EDITING PHASE IN 2023, TO BE RELEASED Q1 2024. A WORKING GROUP IS ALSO VETTING THE ETHICS RESOURCE LIBRARY CONTENT.
