Primary exempt purpose
The Foundation for a Globally Competitive Texas was created by Texas business leaders in 2006 to facilitate the growth of a prosperous Texas in a globally competitive business environment. The purpose of the Foundation is to advise our state and national policymakers on issues critical to Texas' economic growth with timely and fact-based information.

Provide and coordinate research on public policy issues that affect Texas' global competititveness, including economic development, federal issues, public and higher education, and infrastructure. Communicate those findings and data to the general public, those in public service, and elected and appointed leadership.
