Mission
The Filipino-American Development Foundation (FADF) is a nonprofit organization founded in March 1997 to develop initiatives and resources to strengthen the social, physical, and economic well being of the Filipino American community with special attention to the underserved segments of the community. FADF's involvement in the community centers on the needs of the seniors and immigrant families in San Francisco and has taken a responsive, participatory, and an asset-based approach to serving 2000 clients per year at FADF's Bayanihan Community Center through after-school programs, community mental health programs, and cultural & art programming for low-income families.

SOMA Pilipinas Filipino Cultural District Designated by the City of San Francisco in 2016, the cultural district spans 1.5 miles. FADF Soma Pilipinas work involves developing Filipino cultural arts, assets, and creative place-making; community development strategies and economic development initiatives for addressing displacement of Filipino residents, and promoting their sustainability.

Compensation is as filed in Part VII: reportable pay from this organization and from related organizations, other compensation, and hours per week. The total, marked calculated, is our sum of the three dollar columns, with a blank column counted as $0; the form itself has no total. On a Form 990-EZ the columns are Part IV's instead, and on a Form 990-PF Part VIII's — compensation, contributions to benefit plans, and expense account — and the total sums those.
