PRIMARY GOAL IS TO FEED EVERY CHILD IN BRANFORD CT WHO NEEDS FOOD WHILE NOT IN SCHOOL (ON WEEKENDS AND HOLIDAYS) REGARDLESS OF INCOME OR CIRCUMSTANCE.

FEED BRANFORD KIDS OFFERS A WEEKEND "BACKPACK" PROGRAM (DURING THE ACADEMIC SCHOOL YEAR) THAT HAS NO INCOME ELIGIBILTY REQUIREMENTS AND INCLUDES CHILDREN BEYOND THE FREE AND REDUCED BREAKFAST AND LUNCH PROGRAMS. EACH WEEK DURING THE SCHOOL YEAR CHILDREN ARE GIVEN A BAG WITH 2 DAYS WORTH OF FOOD-BREAKFASTS, LUNCHES, MILKS, JUICE, FRUITS AND SNACKS. FAMILIES ARE ALSO ABLE TO PICK UP BAGS OF FOOD ON THURSDAY NIGHTS FROM OUR WAREHOUSE THROUGHOUT THE YEAR.
