Mission

Hope Comes Home helps low-income home owners age-in-place safely and independently.

  • Hope Comes Home unites people of compassion to rebuild homes and restore hope for their low income neighbors, many of whom are elderly or disabled, enabling them to live safely and independently in their own homes and communities. Hope Comes Home served homeowners in North Carolina's Brunswick, Bladen, Columbus, Duplin, and Onslow counties. To qualify for services, homeowners must have a household income at or below 50% of the area median income for their county of residence and must reside in their homes and have owned them for at least three years. In 2024, Hope Comes Home performed home repair projects for 54 households.

Compensation is as filed in Part VII: reportable pay from this organization and from related organizations, other compensation, and hours per week. The total, marked calculated, is our sum of the three dollar columns, with a blank column counted as $0; the form itself has no total. On a Form 990-EZ the columns are Part IV's instead, and on a Form 990-PF Part VIII's — compensation, contributions to benefit plans, and expense account — and the total sums those.
