Compensation is as filed in Part VII: reportable pay from this organization and from related organizations, other compensation, and hours per week. The total, marked calculated, is our sum of the three dollar columns, with a blank column counted as $0; the form itself has no total. On a Form 990-EZ the columns are Part IV's instead, and on a Form 990-PF Part VIII's — compensation, contributions to benefit plans, and expense account — and the total sums those. A Schedule J breakdown is as filed: base pay, bonus, other, deferred compensation and nontaxable benefits from this organization, with any from related organizations beside each, and the filer's own total. It is shown with the Part VII listing of the same name on the same return. The form gives no key between the two, so that pairing is ours, and is marked matched by us.

The filer's explanations (Part III)

Part I, Line 3
All compensation was reviewed and set by the Board of Directors based upon local market data for similar positions and experience.
Part I, Line 4a
During calendar year 2024, but not during the current fiscal year, the organization paid severance to former employees listed in Form 990, Part VII in connection with involuntary termination resulting from the cessation of operations and elimination of positions. Severance was determined based on length of service pursuant to organizational policy and written separation agreements. Employees who accepted employment with another Green Dot affiliated entity received a fixed severance amount, while employees who did not accept such employment received severance equal to 2.75 weeks of pay per year of service. Severance payments were reported as taxable wages on Forms W 2 as follows: Chad Soleo - $298,500 Megan Quaile - $241,824 Ellen Charls - $210,849 Douglas Weston - $167,499 Randi DeMagistris - $83,026 Jihad Mahmud - $43,896 Jaime Hudgins - $84,000 Jose Jauregui - $50,107 Barbara Chen - $86,987
