Activities or mission (Part I)

To provide housing supports to aging musicians and entertainers in two ways: through sustaining support by paying monthly rent or utilities; and through need-based grants which can be in the form of one-time payments.

  • Housing supports were provided to our targeted audience, through an application and approval process, providing assistance with housing expenses and utilities. The grants to clients are based on need, as demonstrated in their applications. In 2022, we awarded over $160,867 in total assistance in the form of rent, mortgage, housing assistance and utility bills, paid directly to vendors on behalf of 27 unique clients.

Compensation is as filed in Part VII: reportable pay from this organization and from related organizations, other compensation, and hours per week. The total, marked calculated, is our sum of the three dollar columns, with a blank column counted as $0; the form itself has no total. On a Form 990-EZ the columns are Part IV's instead, and on a Form 990-PF Part VIII's — compensation, contributions to benefit plans, and expense account — and the total sums those.
