Compensation is as filed in Part VII: reportable pay from this organization and from related organizations, other compensation, and hours per week. The total, marked calculated, is our sum of the three dollar columns, with a blank column counted as $0; the form itself has no total. On a Form 990-EZ the columns are Part IV's instead — compensation, contributions to benefit plans, and expense account — and the total sums those. A Schedule J breakdown is as filed: base pay, bonus, other, deferred compensation and nontaxable benefits from this organization, with any from related organizations beside each, and the filer's own total. It is shown with the Part VII listing of the same name on the same return. The form gives no key between the two, so that pairing is ours, and is marked matched by us.

The filer's explanations (Part III)

Schedule J, Part I, Line 1a
Nemours has established and PMSI has adopted a policy for the reimbursement of travel and related expenses incurred by its employees. All transportation and travel arrangements shall be the most economical under the circumstances. Excursion or coach fares shall be ordered whenever available. Approval shall be required for any other class of travel. Each department has the right to limit travel expenditures based on budgetary restrictions and may limit coverage to certain categories of travel expense. First class travel may occur in situations for Nemours employees wherein other fares are not available or travel is for a long period of time or overseas. Board members also have the option of traveling first class under certain conditions in accordance with Nemours policy.
Schedule J, Part I, Line 4
The following associates received severance payments paid by Nemours in 2024: Robert D Bridges (413,612), Carrie Grant (288,417) and Michael J. Erhard (146,570). Nemours maintained a Supplemental Executive Retirement Plan ("SERP") for a select group of management or highly compensated employees as determined by the Board of Directors. The SERP was adopted in order to provide certain key employees with non-qualified deferred compensation benefits subject to IRC section 457(f) in recognition of the services they provide. Nemours makes discretionary contributions to the plan and may amend or terminate the plan at any time. Participants receiving distributions in 2024 include: Michael J. Erhard MD (512,049) Rodney A. McKendree (166,631) Mark Mumford (124,477) Martha G. McGill (87,299) William W. Higginbotham (48,495).
Schedule J, Part I, Line 7
Certain employees of Nemours and PMSI are eligible for incentive compensation. This compensation is based on qualitative and quantitative organizational goals and the achievement of such goals by its divisions and individuals.

Part I's answers as filed. A line not listed was left unanswered; on lines 1a and 3 that means the box was not checked.
