Compensation is as filed in Part VII: reportable pay from this organization and from related organizations, other compensation, and hours per week. The total, marked calculated, is our sum of the three dollar columns, with a blank column counted as $0; the form itself has no total. On a Form 990-EZ the columns are Part IV's instead — compensation, contributions to benefit plans, and expense account — and the total sums those. A Schedule J breakdown is as filed: base pay, bonus, other, deferred compensation and nontaxable benefits from this organization, with any from related organizations beside each, and the filer's own total. It is shown with the Part VII listing of the same name on the same return. The form gives no key between the two, so that pairing is ours, and is marked matched by us.

- PART I, LINE 3
- PER THE MSEA BYLAWS, APPOINTMENT OF THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS SHALL BE FOR TERMS NOT TO EXCEED FOUR (4) YEARS EACH. COMPENSATION OF THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR SHALL BE DETERMINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS BASED ON A RECOMMENDATION OF THE PRESIDENT. IN THE PROCESS OF DETERMINING COMPENSATION OF THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR, THE ASSOCIATION'S GROWTH, FINANCIAL POSITION, BUDGET AND STAFF CONTRACTS ARE CONSIDERED.
- FORM 990, PAGE 7, PART VII, LINE 5:
- CHERYL BOST - PRESIDENT ($164,519) AND THERESA DUDLEY - VICE PRESIDENT ($133,997) ARE PAID BY BALTIMORE COUNTY AND PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY SCHOOL SYSTEMS, RESPECTIVELY, THE SCHOOL SYSTEMS WHERE THEY ARE BOTH EMPLOYED AT TEACHERS. THE FILING ORGANIZATION IS BILLED BY THE BALTIMORE COUNTY AND PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY SCHOOL SYSTEMS FOR THE TIME SPENT ON THE ASSOCIATION'S BUSINESS. THE AMOUNTS REPORTED ARE BASED ON THE RESPECTIVE SCHOOL SYSTEM'S FISCAL YEAR.
Part I's answers as filed. A line not listed was left unanswered; on lines 1a and 3 that means the box was not checked.
