What the amendment changed

We relate returns by organization, tax year and form, and order them by each return's own timestamp; the filer's own "amended return" checkbox is a separate fact.

Those are the same on the two returns, so the amendment changed something else.

Mission and programs · 2024

Mission

To promote health, academic achivement and character development through tennis.

  • Health - Believing in the transformative power that sports can provide, we use the sport of tennis to reinforce the skills, values, and life lessons that are taught throughout the other parts of our program (academics & character development). Tennis is provided in the form of private and group instruction, Junior Team Tennis leagues, tournament play, summer camps, and community tennis events. We employ certified tennis instructors and comply with the USTAs most up to date recommendations on industry standards.

    Expenses $225,270 · Grants $23 · Revenue $14,829

  • Character Development is a foundational component to our programming as it allows for our students, staff, and volunteers to build relationships through shared experiences in extracurricular activities, mentoring opportunities, college tours, community service, character development instruction, and first time exposure opportunities. What makes our program unique is the emphasis and intentionality on using our enrichment activities for teachable moments as a way to reinforce these skills and values.

    Expenses $206,916 · Grants $24

  • Academic Programming The academic component holds the largest emphasis in our programming, as we believe education is foundational to a students success. Academic support is provided in the way of tutoring, standardized test preparation, college application and scholarship assistance, in-school assistance in classrooms and administration, and providing resources such as computers and material to complete homework and projects. We also work with the parents and school district to monitor and track academic outcomes such as grades, GPA, attendance, and behavior reports to provide a holistic approach to the students success. Parental involvement in their childs educational process is a requirement for participation in the program.

Compensation is as filed in Part VII: reportable pay from this organization and from related organizations, other compensation, and hours per week. The total, marked calculated, is our sum of the three dollar columns, with a blank column counted as $0; the form itself has no total. On a Form 990-EZ the columns are Part IV's instead, and on a Form 990-PF Part VIII's — compensation, contributions to benefit plans, and expense account — and the total sums those.
