EQUITY IMPACT:YWCA IS DEDICATED TO ELIMINATING RACISM, EMPOWERING WOMEN AND PROMOTING PEACE, JUSTICE, FREEDOM AND DIGNITY FOR ALL. YWCA HAS LONG UNDERSTOOD THAT RACE AND GENDER MUST BE ADDRESSED TOGETHER IN ORDER TO CREATE A SOCIETY THAT ENSURES DIGNITY AND PEACE FOR ALL. AT YWCA WE BELIEVE RACIAL AND GENDER JUSTICE WORK IS MORE THAN PROGRAMMATIC INTERVENTION, IT IS A GUIDING PHILOSOPHY AND PRACTICE THAT IS INCORPORATED INTO ALL THE WORK YWCA DOES. THE VISION OF YWCA IS TO CREATE A WORLD WHERE ALL WOMEN AND GIRLS, INCLUDING WOMEN AND GIRLS OF COLOR, ARE FREE FROM RACISM AND SEXISM, EXPERIENCE JUSTICE AND EQUALITY, AND ARE ABLE TO THRIVE. YWCA'S EQUITY THROUGH DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM IS A TRANSFORMATIVE INITIATIVE DESIGNED TO ADVANCE EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES AND CAREER GROWTH IN THE FIELD OF FUNDRAISING AND DEVELOPMENT FOR BLACK AND BROWN INDIVIDUALSCOMMUNITIES HISTORICALLY UNDERREPRESENTED IN PHILANTHROPY. THROUGH A STRUCTURED MENTORSHIP MODEL, PARTICIPANTS ARE PAIRED WITH EXPERIENCED PROFESSIONALS WHO GUIDE THEM IN BUILDING ESSENTIAL SKILLS, EXPANDING NETWORKS, AND NAVIGATING THE NONPROFIT SECTOR. EACH PARTICIPANT IS PLACED WITHIN A COMMUNITY-BASED ORGANIZATION, WHERE THEY GAIN HANDS-ON EXPERIENCE AND CONTRIBUTE MEANINGFULLY TO REAL-WORLD FUNDRAISING EFFORTS. THE PROGRAM CULMINATES IN A CAPSTONE PROJECT, EMPOWERING EACH INDIVIDUAL TO DESIGN AND EXECUTE A FUNDRAISING CAMPAIGN THAT DIRECTLY BENEFITS A LOCAL NONPROFIT. BY REMOVING BARRIERS AND FOSTERING LEADERSHIP, THE YWCA IS CHANGING THE FACE OF PHILANTHROPY AND CREATING PATHWAYS FOR EQUITY, REPRESENTATION, AND LASTING IMPACT

Compensation is as filed in Part VII: reportable pay from this organization and from related organizations, other compensation, and hours per week. The total, marked calculated, is our sum of the three dollar columns, with a blank column counted as $0; the form itself has no total. On a Form 990-EZ the columns are Part IV's instead, and on a Form 990-PF Part VIII's — compensation, contributions to benefit plans, and expense account — and the total sums those. A Schedule J breakdown is as filed: base pay, bonus, other, deferred compensation and nontaxable benefits from this organization, with any from related organizations beside each, and the filer's own total. It is shown with the Part VII listing of the same name on the same return. The form gives no key between the two, so that pairing is ours, and is marked matched by us.
