Compensation is as filed in Part VII: reportable pay from this organization and from related organizations, other compensation, and hours per week. The total, marked calculated, is our sum of the three dollar columns, with a blank column counted as $0; the form itself has no total. On a Form 990-EZ the columns are Part IV's instead — compensation, contributions to benefit plans, and expense account — and the total sums those.

The filer's explanations (Part III)

Pt I Line 4a
DURING 2023 KATHLEEN LIST LEFT THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR POSITION. THE ORGANIZATION HAD FUNDED AN ANNUITY AS A RETIREMENT PLAN WITH MS. LIST AS THE BENEFICIARY. MS. LIST WAS SCHEDULED TO RECEIVE THREE PAYMENTS OF APPROXIMATELY $180,000 PER YEAR IN JULY 2023, AND JANUARY 2024 AND 2025. THE ORGANIZATION ALSO HAS A DEFERRED LIABILITY TO REIMBURSE MS. LIST FOR THE PAYROLL TAXES PAYABLE ON THE THREE ANNUITY DISBURSEMENTS IN 2023, 2024, AND 2025. THE 2024 COMPENSATION CONSISTS ONLY OF THE REIMBURSEMENT FOR MS. LISTS TAXES PAYABLE ON THE ANNUITY.

Part I's answers as filed. A line not listed was left unanswered; on lines 1a and 3 that means the box was not checked.
