THE MISSION OF THE ORGANIZATION IS TO PROMOTE THE CITY OF LOS ANGELES AS HOST CITY FOR SECURING, PROMOTING AND STAGING THE 2026 WORLD CUP AND ATTENDANT EVENTS AND TO BOTH ENCOURAGE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT IN CONNECTION WITH THE WORLD CUP AND PROMOTE A FAVORABLE IMAGE TO THOSE ATTENDING THE WORLD CUP BY PROVIDING ASSISTANCE TO PERSONS ATTENDING AND FUNDS TO COVER CERTAIN COSTS OF STAGING THE WORLD CUP AND ATTENDANT EVENTS, IN SO DOING PROMOTING THE COMMON INTERESTS OF THE CITY OF LOS ANGELES AND ITS RESIDENTS.
