Mission and programs · 2024
Mission
To accept and resell donated goods and to focus on recycling through sale or proper disposal of unwanted or unneeded items. Net profits from sales are used to support area non-profits.
-
Donated goods worth $252,671 were sold in the Thrift Shop. Accumulated profits allowed the organization to award grants to 26 area non-profit organizations totaling $245,864 in the fiscal year 2024 (year-ending 3/31/25). In addition, many other donated unwanted items were disposed of through other non-profits (such as Goodwill and Salvation Army) and through recycling efforts, thus diverting these items from being landfilled.

Compensation is as filed in Part VII: reportable pay from this organization and from related organizations, other compensation, and hours per week. The total, marked calculated, is our sum of the three dollar columns, with a blank column counted as $0; the form itself has no total. On a Form 990-EZ the columns are Part IV's instead, and on a Form 990-PF Part VIII's — compensation, contributions to benefit plans, and expense account — and the total sums those.
