Primary exempt purpose
Organization's Primary Exempt Purpose-Beauty Marks for Girls is dedicated to empowering and supporting girls whose mothers are incarcerated by providing mentorship, education, and essential resources that foster personal growth and long-term success. Through structured programs in mental health support, biblical life coaching, STEM education, career development, and life skills training, we equip these young girls with the tools needed to overcome adversity and achieve self-sufficiency. Additionally, we recognize the critical role of their guardians and provide financial assistance and guidance to ensure stability within their caregiving environments. Our mission is to break cycles of generational hardship by offering targeted support, fostering resilience, and creating opportunities for academic, professional, and personal advancement. By addressing both the immediate and long-term challenges faced by these young girls and their families.

The Mental Health & Wellness Program was committed to supporting the data-driven mental health and well-being of adolescents with incarcerated parents by providing an array of therapeutic counseling and wellness services through evidence-based prevention and intervention measures that are built upon the principles of efficacy, education, and empowerment. This program also provides an ecosystem of wellness such as group therapy, care packages, and physical care. Our Career/College Readiness and College Scholarship Assistance Program is tailored to empower high school students for their journey toward higher education. Through career exploration, we guide them in discovering their passions and interests, helping them make informed decisions about their future paths. We established a Guardian and Children Assistance Program to support caregivers in our program who receive minimal to no governmental aid in caring for children with incarcerated parents. Through this initiative, we've been able to provide vital assistance to families across five counties in South Carolina, effectively easing their burdens and ensuring the well-being of these children. Assistance included travel expenses to visit mothers, hygiene products, household products, electric power in the home assistance, clothing, and food assistance.
