Primary exempt purpose

MICHIGAN JAYCEES WAS FORMED TO DEVELOP TRUE FRIENDSHIP AND UNDERSTANDING AMONG YOUNG PEOPLE OF ALL NATIONS AND OF THE STATE OF MICHIGAN. MICHIGAN JAYCEES WAS FORMED TO PROVIDE SUPPLEMENTARY EDUCATION FOR PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT AND ACHIEVEMENT. MICHIGAN JAYCEES WAS FORMED FOR SUCH EDUCATIONAL AND CHARITABLE PURPOSES AS MAY PROMOTE AND FOSTER INTELLIGENT PARTICIPATION BY YOUNG PEOPLE IN THE AFFAIRS OF THEIR COMMUNITY, STATE, AND NATION. IN DOING SO, MICHIGAN JAYCEES INCULCATES IN THE INDIVIDUAL MEMBER A SPIRIT OF GENUINE CIVIC INTEREST.

  • PROMOTE ACTIVE PARTICIPATION IN LOCAL ORGANIZATION MEMBERS PROGRAMS AND PROJECTS DESIGNED TO IMPROVE THE COMMUNITY, STATE AND NATION, AND TO PROVIDE YOUNG PERSONS AN OPPORTUNITY TO DEVELOP LEADERSHIP SKILLS AND PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT AND ACHIEVEMENT. ENCOURAGE INTELLIGENT PARTICIPATION IN THE AFFAIRS OF THE COMMUNITY, STATE AND NATION.
