Mission
Alive's mission is to provide counseling, emergency sanctuary and other critical services to adults and children impacted by domestic abuse, as well as to increase awareness in order to create a supportive community.
-
During the 2024/25 fiscal year, expenses supported domestic violence (DV) survivors through ALIVE programs and accomplishments by: Answering 12,215 phone calls and live chats to the crisis line, offering information, support, safety planning, crisis intervention, access to ALIVE programs, and referrals. Providing 3,242 safe emergency shelter bed nights to 484 DV victims and their 371 children, including food, basic supplies, individual action plans, resource connections, and intensive case management. Facilitating 852 children's therapy hours 80% more than the previous year to 90 children witnessing DV and their 32 non-abusive parents. Empowering 302 adults through 3,693 individual counseling hours and conducting various weekly support groups including three newly created groups addressing specialized client needs. Advocating for 159 clients pursuing 153 orders of protection and other court actions. Presenting and distributing information about DV dynamics, interventions, and prevention to schools, businesses, referral partners, and the greater community, including newly established university, corporate, and organization partnerships. Over 85% of ALIVE clients report acquiring safety strategies for themselves and their children, gaining knowledge of community resources, and learning coping skills due to ALIVE program participation.

Compensation is as filed in Part VII: reportable pay from this organization and from related organizations, other compensation, and hours per week. The total, marked calculated, is our sum of the three dollar columns, with a blank column counted as $0; the form itself has no total. On a Form 990-EZ the columns are Part IV's instead, and on a Form 990-PF Part VIII's — compensation, contributions to benefit plans, and expense account — and the total sums those.
