Mission and programs · 2022

Primary exempt purpose

Founded in 2021, Pride Frisco is the first and only 501c3 public charity based in Frisco, Texas, supporting the LGBTQIA+ community in Frisco and the North Texas area through social and educational events, scholarships, professional resources, and strategic partnerships with supportive organizations. Currently without a permanent home, we partner with businesses and organizations to co-program family-friendly events on a monthly and ad-hoc basis, when resources are possible. We also put on public events in the Frisco area that are intentionally inclusive and affirming.

  • Annual Pride Frisco Festival, which is a public event to celebrate, commemorate, and create a safe environment for our LGBTQIA+ community and allies to gather, along with queer-supportive resources and vendors. Our Inaugural event on October 8, 2022, had 5,000 attendees over four hours, 100 volunteers, 50+ vendor booths, 4 food trucks.
