Mission and programs · 2022

Mission

To develop, and maintain one of the most innovative above-ground city parks in the country to be known as HUB404 (the "Park") in Atlanta, Georgia ("City"). The nine acre Park will consist of a series of elevated walkways and bridges curving back and forth partially capping nearly half a mile of Georgia 400 state Highway, linking both sides of the city over the sunken thoroughfare, interspersed with greenspace, trees, and small recreation areas. Construction of HUB404 Atlanta GA could begin as early as 2022 and is estimated to last two years, depending on funding.

Activities or mission (Part I)

To develop and maintain one of the most innovative above-ground city parks in the country to be known as HUB404 (the "Park") in Atlanta, Georgia ("City").

  • During 2022, the organization continued to raise funds from commercial property contributions and increased the number of contributors. In collaboration with HUB404 Conservancy, the Buckhead Community Improvement District applied for and received $750,000 of Congressionally Directed Spending. We also added two new board members and hired a full time Executive Director, who began employment on June 01, 2022.

As filed on the 2022 return.

Compensation is as filed in Part VII: reportable pay from this organization and from related organizations, other compensation, and hours per week. The total, marked calculated, is our sum of the three dollar columns, with a blank column counted as $0; the form itself has no total. On a Form 990-EZ the columns are Part IV's instead, and on a Form 990-PF Part VIII's — compensation, contributions to benefit plans, and expense account — and the total sums those.
