Mission

Provide Education, Direct Assistance, and Advocacy for persons and groups affected by HIV/AIDS.

Activities or mission (Part I)

Provide Educatoin, Direct Assistance, and Advocacy for persons and groups affected by HIV/AIDS.

  • The Department of Clients Services provides clients-centered Medical Case Management for people living with HIV/AIDS who live in Rockingham and Strafford Counties of New Hampshire. Case managers at ARS provide direct, face-to-face meetings for initial assessments, re-assessments and informal 'check-in' meetings, phone support and medical and social referrals as indicated. Within this process, a client's needs and goals are assessed, and an individual service plan (ISP) is developed in collaboration with the client to attain their goals. A case manager coordinates this process by providing information, advocacy and referrals linking clients to primary and specialty health care, dental, mental health/substance misuse counseling, Medicaid, Medicare, fuel assistance, SNAP, Housing programs and the AIDS Drug Assistance Program (ADAP) administered by the New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services CARE program.ARS served a total of 126 clients in FY 2025. ARS clients had a viral suppression rate of over 96%. In FY 25, we provided more than $18,000 in direct rent/utility support, over $16,000 in food vouchers and direct food support through our food pantry. ARS clients received over $1,500 in transportation and over $5,000 in other direct client support categories. Also, ARS coordinated for our clients an additional $49,000 of direct long-term and short-term housing support through HOPWA Balance of State.

Compensation is as filed in Part VII: reportable pay from this organization and from related organizations, other compensation, and hours per week. The total, marked calculated, is our sum of the three dollar columns, with a blank column counted as $0; the form itself has no total. On a Form 990-EZ the columns are Part IV's instead, and on a Form 990-PF Part VIII's — compensation, contributions to benefit plans, and expense account — and the total sums those.
