Mission and programs · 2022
Mission
Let s Thrive Baltimore s mission is to provide overall community support, strategies, and awareness for families impacted by trauma in Baltimore.
Activities or mission (Part I)
TO PROVIDE OVERALL COMMUNITY SUPPORT STRATEGIES FOR IMPROVEMENT OF FAMILY UNITS AND AWARENESS OF LOW INCOME FAMILIES IMPACTED BY VIOLENCE
-
Let s Thrive Baltimore runs projects including mentoring, job programs, and support groups for our youth; financial literacy, career consulting, and therapeutic programs for families; housing, rental, and cash assistance for survivors of violence; and cleaning and greening projects in the city. We provided 1,000 meals to families and individuals and help families sign up for federal nutritional programs and prevent food waste by gathering food from partners who give out free food and deliver it to families in need. We also run programs focusing on police reform and stopping human trafficking as well as taking youth on hiking trips, provide free transportation to mental health services and host free grief support groups. We partner with 25 other groups to provide wraparound services for survivors of violent crimes. And we partner as crime victim interrupters with Baltimore City s CVI program.

Compensation is as filed in Part VII: reportable pay from this organization and from related organizations, other compensation, and hours per week. The total, marked calculated, is our sum of the three dollar columns, with a blank column counted as $0; the form itself has no total. On a Form 990-EZ the columns are Part IV's instead, and on a Form 990-PF Part VIII's — compensation, contributions to benefit plans, and expense account — and the total sums those.
